Listen/Sing to:

“I Don’t Have to Worry” by David Dunn

*Psalm 61:

“Hear my cry, O God,
listen to my prayer;
2 from the end of the earth I call to you
when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the rock
that is higher than I,
3 for you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the enemy.

4 Let me dwell in your tent forever!
Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah
5 For you, O God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

6 Prolong the life of the king;
may his years endure to all generations!
7 May he be enthroned forever before God;
appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him!

8 So will I ever sing praises to your name,
as I perform my vows day after day.”

I pray, Father, that you will hear and listen to my prayer. I am calling to you from far away. My heart has no strength. I need You to take me to a solid foundation that is far above me. You are a refuge for me and a strong tower when those who are against me look for me and my worries of this world are in front of me. I want to dwell in Your presence for the rest of my life. I want to find safety under the shelter of Your wings.

God, you have listened to my cry and heard what I have said. There is a kingdom beyond that of this world where You reign and will welcome me to one day and those that fear you, God. Days are added to the life of the king by You. His life and time spans many generations. May he sit and honor You all his days. Give him love that is faithful and truth that will guard him. I will continue to sing Your praises and sing of Your name honoring my vow all the days of my life

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
