Mosaic Happenings

(Middle School/High School Special Needs)

New to Student Ministries is our mosaic group that meets during the 9:30 and 11:00 service hours in room CC201.

The Mosaic room is designed to be adaptive in its teaching style allowing the students the ability to understand biblical teachings and the gospel message in a way that is unique to their individual learning style. The 9:30 class time consists of music, lesson, small and large group time. The 11:00 class has a lesson review, corporate prayer time and a service project that emphasizes their importance of serving. For students who are able to mainstream for either both hours or for a portion of one hour, we incorporate the “buddy” system. Our buddies are equipped and trained volunteers that will assist the student in mainstream settings. Buddies are teamed up with students to allow the teen a sense of independence with the assurance that if they do need something they have a resource close by.
